Many, many thanks to everyone for an outstanding response to this year's appeal - we have sent off 143 boxes from Woolsery - more than double the amount sent last year. This year's boxes have been sent to Romania.

This year's appeal, as in previous years, has been coordinated by the Friends of Woolsery School (FOWS) but has received great support from the wider community as well, making it a real whole-village effort. Thank you to everyone who helped out, whether you supplied empty boxes, helped with wrapping, got knitting for hats and scarves or contributed other items - we have really made a difference to a huge number of children this Christmas.
